Sheepledom.org – mapping the land of political extremes (including extreme apathy)
|

|
This map of Sheepledom started as the board for a game (presently unfinished) called "Sheeple: the game of extreme politics", hence the grid and locations for the favored sports of each quadrant. This map illustrates political positions in a 2 dimensional chart. This is based on the Nolan Chart concept that graphs orthogonal axes for personal freedom and economic freedom. The "spectrum highway" on the chart shows how the conventional one dimensional left-right political spectrum can map into the 2D chart.
"We
aim to offend everyone equally,
That motto is also from the game, but illustrates two points we want to make clear: First, leaders like Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and Osama bin Laden all represent evil that occupies its own corner at the bottom of the chart. The lofty heights of Anarchy Peak may not yet be habitable to humans, but that is as far away from the bad guys as it is possible to get. Second, we do intend to treat the left-right (or progressive-conservative) division as fairly as possible, and welcome any comments and suggestions to help us do that better or make other improvements (such as additional or better place names).
